ECOGAS is represented on the EASA Advisory Board, The EASA Safety Standards Consultative Committee, The EASA Work Programme and Budget Working Group, The EASA Fees and Charges Working Group, together with numerous EASA Drafting Groups such as MDM032, OPS.001 and FCL.001. ECOGAS remains active within the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) through the Interested Parties Advisory Panel and the Regulation and Licensing Sectorial Teams. ECOGAS maintains close links with other European Institutions including the European Commission and the ECAC.
ECOGAS attends meetings and workshops to ensure the views of General Aviation and the, typically, Small and Medium Sized companies involved in the sector have their voices heard and their interests protected. ECOGAS acts as a lobby force to all European institutions and regulators for the sector; championing the needs of General Aviation and the wide social and economic importance of our members.
ECOGAS also acts as a focal point for consultations issued by European institutions and regulators, providing a pro active voice partner in the consultation process.
